Microsoft Excel 2000: Level 1
Course Length:  1 Day


New users will learn the skills necessary to effectively use Excel 2000 to create spreadsheets. 

Windows 9x/2000: Level 1 (or equivalent experience)
  • Create a basic worksheet by entering text, values and formulas
  • Create formulas using Excel’s built in functions
  • Use shortcut menus, toolbars and menu commands to alter the appearance of the worksheet
  • Move and copy data, change alignment, and insert/delete rows and columns
  • Change the appearance of worksheet data by using a variety of formatting techniques
  • Prepare a worksheet for printing by setting a variety of printing options
  • Perform frequently used commands such as freeze headings, format numbers, use the painter, insert page breaks, change line borders, and more
  • Work with multiple worksheets; name tabs, copy/move data between tabs, write linking formulas
