Microsoft Project 2002: Level 1

Students will learn how to plan, manage and report on their project plans.

• Work with custom filters

• Modify toolbars and global settings

• Create a baseline and interim plan to aid in tracking variance

• Preview baseline reports and related views

• Additional resource considerations including scheduling

• Customize resource reports

• Track actual progress of tasks using the Tracking Gantt and Tracking Toolbar; use the Assignment Information dialog box

• Enter task progress information; enter actual data for completed and in progress tasks

• Reschedule a task

• Create master projects and subprojects; consolidate projects; cross project linking

• Share resource pools, calendars, customized views among files

• Adjust the schedule of future tasks based in actual data

• Customize reports, tables and views

• Import and export Project data
